StreamLab FAQ
What Is A Streamlab Stream?
As the name suggests, a live stream is a live recording of an event being streamed directly to the web in real time. If you’ve ever seen a Facebook Live or Youtube Live, the premise is the same, except we use a customised web portal that allows us to deliver an incredibly high-quality stream without time limitations or being constrained to one platform.
Furthermore, we use professional broadcast quality cameras fed into a custom built processor which allows us to mix sources, add text and other overlays, and show all of the content that the attendees in the room are seeing!
A Streamlab live stream allows you to join in on a Live Event as if you were in the room, you can see the presenters in full HD and hear them with pristine audio clarity. What’s more, you’ll be able to see any videos or presentations the same as the attendees in the room and even join in on Q & A’s and audience interactions via the chat box located below the stream.
Can I Buy More Than One Live Stream Ticket?
At this stage no, we restrict the number of live stream tickets available to purchase at one time to 1. This is because each ticket is applied to the account of the person purchasing the ticket, so buying a larger quantity than 1 would have no effect. To buy extra tickets, you need to do so separately, using a different email address each time.
Are There Any Ticket Fees or Extra Charges?
In most cases no, we ask all event holders to absorb the very small service fee required to sell tickets on our site, in order to ensure we’re as upfront about ticket prices as possible. In addition to our service fee, every ticket purchase with credit card is subject to a 2% fee from Stripe, which unless otherwise indicated, is included in the price of your ticket. Basically, unless we tell you otherwise, the ticket price on our website is all inclusive of any fees or charges!
How Do I Watch A Live Stream?
Once purchased, your ticket will automatically be linked to your account, so on the day of the event, you simply need to return to this page OR click the link in the email that you receive after purchasing your ticket, sign in to your account, and you’ll be able to view the live stream.
Should you come across any issues in viewing the live stream, feel free to get in touch with our technicians by using the live chat at the bottom right of this page.
What’s Included In A Live Stream Ticket?
When you purchase a ticket, you’ll be prompted to create an account using your email address. This account will ensure you have access to the live stream page on the day of the event, as well as access to any recordings or replays of the event.
Depending on the event and organiser, your ticket may also allow you to chat with other attendees, ask questions to speakers on stage, or even get access to event workbooks or materials.
All Streamlab tickets are issued to you, the purchaser only, and our licensing only allows for a single viewer per ticket.
Is StreamLab Secure?
Absolutely, we use industry-standard SSL to secure the entirety of this site, so your personal details and payment information is always safe. Additionally, our payment processing partner, Stripe is trusted by thousands of businesses worldwide, and carries the PCI Service Provider Level 1 certification, the most stringent level available.
Furthermore, when you pay for your ticket, all of the payment information is passed directly into the organisers’ Stripe account, none of that information is contained within our own servers.
